If you donât like where you are financially, youâre allowed to change it. Not overnight. Not perfectly. And not by comparing your starting point to someone elseâs. We all come to money from different places. Some people were taught about investing early. Some are figuring it out much later. Life happens, mistakes happen, and sometimes just getting through a difficult season takes priority. Your starting point doesnât define where you can go from here. For me, that philosophy shows up in one very simple habit: I buy $XEQT every day. Itâs not about trying to time the market or make one brilliant investment. Itâs my way of consistently choosing the future I want to build, one small decision at a time. I canât change the financial decisions I made years ago, and I donât need to. I can learn from them and make different ones today. We donât all start in the same place, and we wonât all follow the same path. But wherever youâre starting from, you still get to write what comes next.

And starting âlaterâ doesnât necessarily mean itâll take 30 years from the starting point onward Smart decisions (like starting to invest) will likely lead the person to make money along the way, that money, invested, will speed up the whole compounding process As you said itâs really just about starting. These things have a way of compounding fast đ

Everyone of us has a different path & most of us make many many mistakes while young. The good news with the markets is you donât need perfect timing & you donât need to pick the perfect strategy ⌠If you are okay with making average 7% returns you can double your portfolio every 10 years. Investing in general index funds over 20 years is the only place where you can do everything wrong (buy at the worst timing ) and as long as you never sell general broad index funds over 20 yrs youâll do fine ..

I started early but got serious and caught up late. Now my portfolio earns more than I ever did.
